Perfect Peace

THE SEED

“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast because they trust in you.” Isaiah 26:3 NIV

Perfect peace is enjoyed by believers who trust in the Lord with a steadfast mind. It is the will of God through Jesus Christ that we have peace internally and externally. Perfect peace activates our sense to be able to hear and listen to God when He speaks to direct, instruct and correct us. Perfect peace makes us experience calmness amidst the bustling and troublesome world we live in. This is why Jesus released His peace upon us as believers with the understanding that the type of peace he had impacted our lives with, is not the one that the world gives or understand. The understanding of the world about peace is a situation where everything is going on smoothly without ill feelings; but the perfect peace we receive from Christ keeps us at rest in times of trouble as well as the time of ease. The source of this gift is our ability to put our trust in God and depend solely on Him at all times. To continue to enjoy the perfect peace of God, we must engage our minds to trust in Him always.

PRAYER

Lord, I desire to enjoy Your perfect peace in my life always in Jesus’ name. Amen
