THE SEED
For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not. Isaiah 30:15
Everyone seems to be looking for answers, guidance, and something to lift their spirits, but they don’t look to the Lord for these things. However, God has already addressed them through Isaiah, and if they do not go to him for guidance, their efforts will only result in misery and confusion. The salvation of people has been made simple by Jesus Christ, who now offers salvation to both Israelites and other nations, or Gentiles. All who call on the name of the Lord will be saved because Jesus Christ offered His blood as an atonement for the sin of the world (Acts 2:21). Once you’ve been saved, be calm and rely on the Lord Jesus Christ in any circumstance; when we put our faith in Him, more grace becomes accessible to us, enabling us to triumph over every challenging circumstance. Your heart will be drawn towards Jesus in worship, while your body is at ease and comfy and your eyes are fixed entirely on Him. You will probably feel more inclined to obey Him as a result of this experience. People who make time to spend alone with the Lord discover a fresh source of inner fortitude and quiet assurance.
PRAYER
O Lord, let me not lose that comfort and inner peace, since accepting you as my Lord and Saviour, me know you more. Amen.
