THE SEED
“Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful.” Psalm 1:1
Job, having terrible sores from the soles of his feet to the crown of his head must have been a sight to behold. Instead of standing by Job and encouraging him, the wife said to him, “Are you still holding on to your integrity? Curse God and die!” Job rebuked her and in all he was going through, he did not sin with his lips. Job exhibited great genuineness of faith towards God. How often do we blame and question God when things do not go or happen the way we envisage, even much lesser things than what Job went through? His grief was very great but he refused to curse God or sin with his lips but rather declared, “For I know that my Redeemer liveth …” (Job 19:25). Job had such love and faith in the God he was serving. Job is indeed worth emulating. Pray that your love for God will be so great that you will always see Him as righteous and right in everything that He allows.

Bu Ọlọrun ki o si kú!” Jóòbù bá obìnrin náà wí, kò sì fi ètè rẹ̀ ṣẹ̀ nínú gbogbo ohun tó ń ṣẹlẹ̀. Jóòbù fi ojúlówó ìgbàgbọ́ ńlá hàn sí Ọlọ́run. Igba melo ni a da Ọlọrun lẹbi ti a si beere lọwọ Ọlọrun nigbati awọn nkan ko ba ṣẹlẹ tabi ṣẹlẹ ni ọna ti a nireti, paapaa awọn ohun ti o kere ju ohun ti Jobu la? Ìbànújẹ́ rẹ̀ pọ̀ gan-an ṣùgbọ́n ó kọ̀ láti bú Ọlọ́run tàbí dẹ́ṣẹ̀ pẹ̀lú ètè rẹ̀ ṣùgbọ́n kàkà bẹ́ẹ̀ ó kéde pé, “Nítorí mo mọ̀ pé Olùràpadà mi yè…..” (Jóòbù 19:25). Jóòbù ní irú ìfẹ́ àti ìgbàgbọ́ bẹ́ẹ̀ nínú Ọlọ́run tó ń sìn. Nitootọ Job yẹ lati fara wé. Gbadura pe ifẹ rẹ fun Ọlọrun yoo tobi pupọ pe iwọ yoo rii nigbagbogbo bi olododo ati ẹtọ ninu ohun gbogbo ti O gba laaye.
