RENEWAL OF OUR INNER MAN

RENEWAL OF OUR INNER MAN

THE SEED
“Therefore, we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.” — 2 Corinthians 4:16

Life’s trials and challenges can sometimes leave us feeling weary. However, we are reminded that whatever we face on earth is temporary and cannot compare to the eternal glory that awaits us. Jesus encouraged us in John 16:33, saying that although we will have difficulties in this world, we should take heart because He has already overcome it.
Hardships such as sickness, loss, and financial struggles may test our faith, but they cannot separate us from God’s love. In fact, these trials refine us, strengthen our faith, and draw us closer to Him. Just as an athlete endures rigorous training in anticipation of winning a prize, we must remain steadfast in our faith, keeping our eyes fixed on the eternal reward that God has prepared for us. Let us press forward with determination, trusting that every challenge we face is shaping us for something greater.

BIBLE READING: 2 Corinthians 4:16-20

PRAYER: Lord, grant me the strength to endure trials and press forward until I reign with You in glory in Jesus’ name, Amen.
