Sowing For A Fruitful Harvest

THE SEED
“As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease.” Genesis 8:22

In the Primary School, we planted beans with just few seeds. I was eager to see an exponential growth overnight, such as the one in ‘Jack and the Giant Beanstalk’. However, it germinated slowly, and it produced the right harvest. Noah made a sacrifice to God after his family were saved from the flood. God was happy with the sacrifice, and He promised a continuous harvest to all humankind. Sowing helps you to strengthen weak brethren, helping them through dark times and you are changing lives. Be encouraged to sow God’s words towards harvest time, charitable deeds, money, time etc. He has provided the resources for you. Your sowing contributes to the ongoing cycle as God has promised in the time of Noah, Noah is gone, but his sacrifice opened God’s promises to you as you are storing up treasures in heaven.

BIBLE READING: Genesis 8:13-22

PRAYER: Lord, thank you for your harvest that I am enjoying. I pray for opportunity to sow goodness into the lives of others. Amen.
