THE SEED
“Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. Matthew 7:12
One of the greatest works of Jesus Christ is the simplification of the scriptures to make life easier and open up understanding to believers.
Above is one of such scriptures that summaries the Old Testament requirements. Instead of memorising the law and the prophets, He said simply meditate on Matthew 7:12 and put it to work and you would have fulfilled all the law and the prophets.
The question is what do you want men to do to you? Do you want men to love you, respect you, give you a chance, give you gifts etc? Then do so to them likewise. The world would have been a better place to live in, if everyone had been living by this principle, but you don’t really need to wait for the world or anyone to start to live your life according to this principle.
Go out there today and start to treat, speak, appreciate, give, and do as the Holy Spirit will lay on your hearts all the things you would want others to do to you.
