TRANSITION TO GLORY
THE SEED
“For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands.” 2 Corinthians 5:1 NIV
The opening scripture reminds us that our true home is with the Lord, and death is merely the doorway to our eternal home. Our earthly tent is our body where our spirit and soul are confined and tempted to go the sinful way. As believers, we have the blessed assurance that death is not the end but a transition to eternal life with God. Our earthly bodies may pass away, but through Christ, we are promised a glorious future with Him in heaven. As believers in Christ, our transition to glory is a promise of being with the Lord forever. Jesus assured us that He was going ahead of us to prepare a dwelling place for us in heaven and after His preparation, He would come back to take us home to live with Him. One of the two ways to transition to meet the Lord is through death. Though a devastating experience for families and loved ones, it is joy in heaven because a believer has finally made it to come back home. As we continue to experience the loss of loved ones before our own time or the rapture comes, let us find hope in the promise of resurrection and eternal life promised by the Lord. According to His words, He will wipe every tear from our eyes and there will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain.

Àgọ́ ti ayé jẹ́ ara wa níbi tí ẹ̀mí àti okàn wa ti wà ní ìhámọ́ra tí a sì dán an wò láti lọ ní ọ̀nà ẹ̀ṣẹ̀. Gẹgẹbi awọn onigbagbọ, a ni idaniloju ibukun pe iku kii ṣe opin ṣugbọn iyipada si iye ainipekun pẹlu Ọlọrun. Ara ti ayé lè kọjá lọ, ṣùgbọ́n nípasẹ̀ Kristi, a ti ṣèlérí ọjọ́ ọ̀la ológo kan pẹ̀lú Rẹ̀ ní ọ̀run. Gẹgẹbi awọn onigbagbọ ninu Kristi, iyipada wa si ogo jẹ ileri ti wiwa pẹlu Oluwa lailai. Jesu fi da wa loju pe Oun nlọ siwaju wa lati pese ibugbe fun wa ni ọrun ati lẹhin igbaradi Rẹ, Oun yoo pada wa lati mu wa lọ si ile lati gbe pẹlu Rẹ.
