When We Seek God

THE SEED
Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always. 1 Chronicles 16:11

Breathe deeply and give your thoughts some space. Now, be completely honest with yourself and ask yourself, “What am I pursuing most in life?” The majority of individuals in the world are looking for things that, once this life is gone, they will never be able to keep. But only a close, everlasting relationship with Jesus Christ can bring true fulfillment. We can seek that relationship with the Lord just like Josiah did in the text we’re reading today. You must have the desire to Learn about His personality. In-depth study of God’s Word helps us gain a better grasp of who God is and how He interacts with His creation. Enjoy close communion with Him. It takes quality time—consistent, alone, peaceful, and unhurried—to reconnect our hearts with God’s. Greater adherence to Him Your desire to obey and please our heavenly Father will grow as you give the Holy Spirit greater room to work His Word into your heart. Although we must choose to pursue them, these three things unquestionably draw us nearer to God. Will you look for God? Today, let us make a commitment to getting to know and love Him better and seeking His assistance.

PRAYER
Oh Lord, give me the grace to know you more, and also the grace to do your will till eternity, Amen.
