TRUST IN GOD

TRUST IN GOD

THE SEED

“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.” Isaiah 26:3 KJV

Complete reliance on God for our desires and needs is a sign of trust in Him. Even so, some Christians start to have doubts about God when they encounter difficulties or adverse situations. They worry and stress over whether or not things will work out for them even though they know God is dependable and won’t let go of them. Taking matters into their own hands, some even claim they are assisting God in carrying out His plan for their lives. Therefore, just because God says He will bring about a change in our lives, it doesn’t mean that we won’t encounter challenges. Nobody knows how God works, and although some individuals have it easy walking through life, others may not. But God’s plan will not bring disgrace or disappointment to us. Regardless of our background, ethnicity, and history; God’s intention for each of our lives gives clarity and an expected end; if He has spoken it, He will carry it out. Though we should not mistrust God after witnessing His wonders in our lives, we still need to prepare our thoughts and emotions to receive His declaration for our lives. When our circumstances do not meet our expectations, understanding God’s designated times can help us to build trust in Him, because He is aware of our aspirations even though they have not yet materialized, it only indicates that He intends to provide for us at the precise moment that we need it most. God wants to take us to the future, He has pre-determined for us and our trust in Him has a role, no matter how small to play in it.
