THE SEED
“Then He pointed to His disciples and said, ‘Here are My mother and My brothers! For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother.’” Matthew 12:49-50 (NLT)
When Jesus described His disciples as family, He was not diminishing the importance of earthly relationships but highlighting the depth of the spiritual connection we can have with Him. Jesus offers us more than just salvation; He offers friendship, companionship, and a deep, personal relationship. For those who feel alone, without close family ties, or those walking through seasons of isolation, this promise is especially meaningful.
Jesus is a faithful friend, a caring brother, and a constant companion who knows our hearts better than anyone else. He invites us to bring our fears, joys, and struggles to Him, knowing that He
understands and cares deeply. Today, let’s remember that we are never alone. We have a friend in Jesus who stands closer than a brother and remains ever faithful.
