IN THE EYES OF THE BEHOLDER
THE SEED
“Do not lust after her beauty in your heart, nor let her allure you with her eyelids.” — Proverbs 6:25 (NKJV)
The eyes are a powerful gate to the heart. What we allow them to behold shapes our desires and can lead us either toward godliness or into sin. Lust is conceived when we fix our gaze on what does not glorify God, and it often leads to actions we may regret. Jesus warns us to flee from anything that causes us to stumble. The goal is not to physically close our eyes to the world but to train our hearts to reject sinful desires at their entry point. We are called to set our gaze on things above and avoid things that corrupt the soul. What you behold consistently will influence what you become. Guard your eyes so that your life remains aligned with God’s will.

Ète náà kì í ṣe pé ká di ojú wa mọ́ lórí ohun gbogbo nínú ayé, ṣùgbọ́n pé ká kọ́ ọkàn wa láti kọ ohun tó lè bàjẹ́ ẹ̀mí wa láti ìbẹ̀rẹ̀. A pè wá láti gbé ojú wa sí ohun tí ó wà lókè, kí a sì yàgò fún ohun tí ó lè ba ìrìn wa pẹ̀lú Ọlọ́run jẹ́. Ohun tí o máa ń wo nígbà gbogbo yóò nípa lórí ohun tí ìwọ yóò di lọ́jọ́ iwájú. Nítorí náà, pa ojú rẹ mọ́, kí ìgbésí ayé rẹ sì lè bá ìfẹ́ Ọlọ́run mu.
