LIVING THE NEW LIFE IN CHRIST
THE SEED
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV)
Being in Christ is more than a confession; it is a transformation. The new life replaces old patterns of sin with the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
Many Christians still struggle with living between the old and new because they haven’t fully surrendered to the Spirit’s transforming work. Wilful sins can slowly erode spiritual growth if left unchecked. That is why David prayed in Psalm 19:13, “Keep me from wilful sins, may they not rule over me.” Let your new identity in Christ reflect in your character, your choices, and your daily walk. Live like one who has been made new.
Reflection: The proof of new life in Christ is daily transformation.
