DIVINE PROTECTION AND CARE
THE SEED
“When they had gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream. “Get up,” he said, “take the child and his mother and escape to Egypt. Stay there until I tell you, for Herod is going to search for the child to kill him.” — Matthew 2:13
God’s protection often begins with divine instruction. Joseph received a warning in a dream and obeyed without hesitation, and that obedience preserved the life of the Saviour. In the same way, God guides and shields His children from unseen danger through the leading of His Spirit. Sometimes, His protection may not look like a shield but a simple instruction—“move,” “wait,” or “stay quiet.” Our safety is found not just in praying for protection but in listening and responding to His voice. No enemy can prevail against a child of God who listens to divine direction.
Reflection: God’s protection is often hidden in His instructions.
