The Prompting

THE SEED
“But he that entereth by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.
And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.” John 10:2-4

As a child of God, our father will never leave us without direction and leading. Some Christian will sometimes say something was telling them to do this or do that. Some will say that they have the urge to do something or feel presto that a particular thing at a particular time. One can call this prompting, one must be filled with the word of God and should cherish the presence of God at all times in order to be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. The Lord’s directives can come when we least expect or when we are thinking or talking about something different. The matter is that God always wants to talk to His children and He may want to send them on some errand. The important thing is for us to be able to distinguish the voice of God from our flesh and from that of the devil. This requires spiritual growth, a persistent and consistent walk with the Trinity. Also, to be able to have inner strength to act on the prompting of the Holy Spirit and to experience the Supernatural even in this present world.

PRAYER
May I be able to easily yield to the leadings of the Holy Spirit in Jesus name. Amen.
