THE SEED
“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able” 1 Corinthians 10:13
First of all, we must understand there’s Satan. He’s clever, he’s relentless, he’s vicious, he’s way out of your league and mine. Far more powerful than any of us can imagine. He’s likened to a roaring lion, prowling around, seeking someone to devour. He will show you no mercy, but he’s clever. He’s compared to an angel of light, masquerading as something enticing and beautiful.
Satan chooses carefully those he would personally attack. Satan is not omnipresent; as a created being he can only be one place at a time. That’s why elsewhere in scripture the enemy is heard speaking indirectly through demons and human instruments. Satan will often tempt you where you are the weakest, but he will also tempt you where you are the strongest. That’s what Satan did with Jesus; he tempted Him in an area Jesus knew He was strong. Everyone of us has been gifted by God. We have unique strengths and abilities that we can either use for God’s glory or misuse for our own gain. Satan will fire his missiles of temptation your way, but God is faithful! You can have faith to stand with the invincible weapon of God’s word at work in your life!
PRAYER
Satan, I resist you in my life, in my finances, career, family, relationship, home, business, and every aspect of life in Jesus name
