ASK IN THANKSGIVING THE SEED
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.” – Philippians 4:6 (NKJV)
As we step further into the new year, God wants us to make our requests known—but not with anxiety or fear. He calls us to come with thanksgiving. When we approach God with gratitude, we are declaring our trust in His power and faithfulness before the answers come. Thanksgiving positions the heart to see beyond the present situation. It silences fear and activates faith. Jesus Himself, at the tomb of Lazarus, gave thanks before the miracle happened. Paul and Silas sang songs of thanksgiving in prison before their chains fell off. Asking with thanksgiving is not a mere ritual; it is a weapon of faith. It turns petitions into praise and prayers into power. No matter what the situation looks like, start by thanking God for who He is, then ask boldly, trusting Him for the best outcome.
