THE SEED
“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?” Romans 8:35
When we look at the instances listed above, we realise that all of them are negative conditions that no one prays for in life. These conditions signify hardship and when one finds him/herself in any of them, can make him/her that is not well rooted in the Lord to stray away from His presence. The bible even says, let him who thinks he stands, take heed, lest he falls from grace. On a second look at all these conditions, as negative as they seem to be, one should also be careful of the positive conditions of life. King Solomon had all the perks of life at his beck and call. He even wrote in Ecclesiastes 2:9-10 that whatever his eyes desired, he got them. He was swimming in wealth and wisdom that made people all over the world to see the glory of God upon his life. Yet, in the midst of all the riches, he fell! The same table the Lord prepared before him with his cup running over separated him from God who blessed him! Both negative and positive conditions of life can take us away from the presence of God, if we are not careful. As a matter of fact, it is even easier for the blessings God has given us to separate us from Him e.g. children, wife, husband, work, wealth, peace, comfort and many others have to be watched.

Síbe, ní àárín gbogbo ọro wonyi, ó ṣubú! Tabili kanna ti Oluwa pese niwaju rẹ pẹlu ago rẹ ti nṣàn lori ya kuro lọdọ Ọlọrun ti o bukun fun u! Awọn ipo odi ati rere ti igbesi aye le mu wa kuro ni iwaju Ọlọrun, ti a ko ba ṣọra. Ní ti gidi, ó tilẹ̀ rọrùn fún àwọn ìbùkún tí Ọlorun ti fún wa láti yà wá kúrò lodo re. Awon nnkan wonyi ni ọmọ, iyawo, ọkọ, ise, oro, alaafia, itunu ati bebelo.
