Beware What Anger Can Do To You

THE SEED
“But I say to you that everyone who continues to be angry with his brother or harbours malice against him shall be guilty before the court; and whoever speaks [contemptuously and insultingly] to his brother, ‘Raca (You empty-headed idiot)!’ shall be guilty before the supreme court (Sanhedrin); and whoever says, ‘You fool!’ shall be in danger of the fiery hell.” Matthew 5:22 AMP

Killing is a terrible sin, but anger is a great sin, too, because it also violates God’s command to love. Being unnecessarily angry with people around you by calling them fools or saying words that make them feel less of themselves will automatically put you under the physical judgment of human beings according to the words of Jesus in the scripture above. Also, spiritually under God’s judgement to be thrown into hell. Beloved of Christ, why will you allow anger to send you to hell? Be careful of dangerous anger, because it is a raging bitterness against someone. It is a dangerous emotion that always threatens to leap out of control, leading to violence, emotional hurt, increased mental stress and spiritual damage. Anger keeps us from developing a spirit that is pleasing to God. Yes as human beings, if we get into the trap of unnecessary anger our best option is to seek reconciliation with both men and God.
