HOW DO YOU RESPOND TO FEAR
THE SEED
“But when I am afraid, I will put my trust in you. I praise God for what he has promised. I trust God, so why should I be afraid? What can mere mortals do to me?” — Psalm 56:3–4 (NLT)
Fear is a natural response, but faith is a supernatural choice. Life will present moments that shake us—situations that seem overwhelming or uncertain. Yet, as the psalmist reminds us, the way to overcome fear is to place our trust in the Lord and hold on to His promises. God has not promised a life without challenges, but He has promised His presence and protection. When fear rises, His Word becomes our shield and stronghold. We can rest in the assurance that He will never leave nor forsake us. Beloved, no situation is too big for the One who holds the universe. Trusting Him in fearful moments turns fear into faith and uncertainty into strength.
Reflection: Fear loses its power when trust in God rises.
