THE SEED

Have you ever questioned what Jesus is doing in paradise now? He is seated at God’s right hand, according to today’s verse. We could question what He’s doing up there as a result. Is He only anticipating His return to the earth? No! He genuinely does a lot of work for us. First, the Holy Spirit, who is the embodiment of the Lord Jesus, resides within every believer (John 15:26; Romans 8:9-10). This implies that Christ is forming your character and enhancing your obedience from heaven. Second, the Lord pleads our case (Hebrews 7:25). He petitions the Father on our behalf and delivers our prayers. Third, Jesus serves as our defender when we sin, as shown in 1 John 2:1–2. Because of His sacrifice and our confidence in Him, He stands in the way between us and the Father and declares our righteousness. Finally, Christ is setting everything in motion for His second coming and preparing a home for us in heaven (John 14:1-3). Jesus is carrying out the Father’s will in heaven. And here on earth, we ought to follow suit. When we emulate the Lord’s life in our actions, attitudes, words, and behaviour, He can save people through us. Let us serve as a beacon for Christ by serving as His feet, hands, voice, eyes, and ears.
