LET HEAVEN PRAISE YOU
THE SEED
“For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.” — 2 Corinthians 10:12 (KJV)
In a world that celebrates self-promotion, humility is becoming rare. Many seek recognition and applause, but God calls His children to do their good works quietly and let Heaven commend them openly. Self-praise magnifies self, not God. When we seek human approval, we risk losing the reward of Heaven. God’s commendation is weightier and more lasting than human applause. When you let your works speak quietly, God Himself will raise your voice at the right time. Do good for God’s glory, not for self-glorification. Heaven’s reward is greater than earthly recognition.
Reflection: When Heaven praises you, man’s applause is no longer necessary.
