LIVE BY THE WORD THE SEED

“…And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God. (Verse 4)” Luke 4: 1 – 4
Let me begin by encouraging you to please read Deut. 8: 1 – 3, as this was the scripture Jesus was quoting from.
I will now proceed to paraphrase what Jesus meant by what He said:
‘I am not alive because of the food I eat or how well I look after myself. I need those things, but they will not serve me if I am not hearing and obeying the Word of God. I must live on every conceivable level, by God’s Word.
We are not ordinary people. We are children of God; and so, we must live by instruction and revelation. Till we learn to live in submission to God’s will, regardless of our personal preference, we will not see the fullness of His glory in our lives. That is the simple truth! PRAYER
Heavenly Father, I declare over myself that I live not by bread alone, but by every Word of God, in Jesus name Amen.
