OBEDIENCE IS BETTER THAN SACRIFICE
THE SEED
“Has the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed than the fat of rams.” – 1 Samuel 15:22 (NKJV)
Obedience is a believer’s powerful response to God’s Word. Those who obey attract His favour and walk in the flow of His blessings. The enemy often seeks to shift our focus to sacrifices while neglecting obedience. That was his trick in the Garden of Eden, causing Adam and Eve to lose the joy and glory of G o d ‘ s p r e s e n c e . J u s t a s A d a m ‘ s disobedience brought death, Christ’s obedience brought life. Life presents choices daily—to obey or to disobey. Choosing obedience over sacrifice aligns us with God’s will and positions us for His favour.
