Scriptures About You

THE SEED
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path”. Psalms 119:105 AMP.

It is important for every child of God to have knowledge of what the scripture says about him/her in order to be able to discern the deceitful words of the devil. A lot of people have committed suicide due to the negative words they hear every day from family, friends and colleagues. Once a lie is being told overtime, it gradually sounds like the truth and this particular experience has led many into depression. If the Bible calls us the light of the world, it would be wrong to permit anyone else to call us darkness. If the Bible calls us God’s chosen people, it would be wrong to permit anyone else to call us sons of the devil. If the Bible says God has forgiven us our sins, it would be wrong to permit anyone else to call us sinners. If the Bible says we are fruitful, we would be wrong to permit anyone else to call us barren. If God says he has a beautiful future for us,it would be wrong to permit anyone else to call us futureless. People will say a lot of lies to you that might appear to be the truth at that moment, it might be concerning your finances, job, spiritual life, academics, marriages etc. However, our victory lies in our knowledge and application of God’s word, just like Jesus overcame the temptation of the devil with God’s word. The word of God carries power and it produces life and light in us. It is this light we use to navigate through the world. Therefore, as we go through our daily activities, let us know and keep in mind what the word of God says about us and use it to navigate toxicity surrounding us.
