SPEAKING THE TRUTH

THE SEED

“I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost.” – Romans 9:1 (KJV)

Lying has become common in today’s world, even among those who profess to be God’s children. But the Bible clearly states in John 8:44 that the devil is the father of lies. No one ruled by lies can truly claim to belong to God. Truthfulness is a mark of genuine discipleship. Speaking the truth requires a conscious commitment to let the Holy Spirit guide your tongue and rule your conscience. When truth becomes your lifestyle, you walk in peace, integrity, and divine approval. Like Paul, you can boldly declare, “I belong to Christ, and I do not lie.”

BIBLE READINGS:  Ephesians 4:20–32 (KJV)

PRAYER: Father, in Jesus’ name, deliver my tongue from lies and teach me to speak the truth always. Amen.
