SURRENDERING TO HIS WILL
THE SEED
“Father, if You are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but Yours be done.” — Luke 22:42 (NIV)
Submission to God’s will is often easier preached than practiced. Our natural tendency is to prefer our plans and desire God’s approval for them. But true obedience happens when we lay down our will to embrace His, even when it is uncomfortable or difficult. Jesus Himself experienced this battle in Gethsemane, yet He chose to yield to the Father’s plan. There are times when God’s path doesn’t align with our expectations, but His will is always better. Obedience requires trust in His wisdom, not in our understanding. When we surrender fully, we make room for His perfect plan to unfold. Total submission is not weakness but strength under God’s authority. It unlocks divine direction, peace, and blessings that partial obedience can never bring.
Reflection: True strength is found in surrendering your will to God.
