TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR LIFE
THE SEED
“The foolishness of man perverteth his way: and his heart fretteth against the Lord.” — Proverbs 19:3 KJV
It is easy to blame God, others, or circumstances when things go wrong, but Scripture makes it clear that personal choices shape life’s outcomes. Many people live in disobedience and then hold God responsible for the consequences of their actions. But God is never at fault. Each person is accountable for the path they walk and the results they reap. We cannot change the past, but we can take responsibility for the present and the future. Regret and self-pity do not produce transformation—decisions aligned with God’s Word do. Like the wise man in Matthew 7 who built on the rock, lasting results come when we hear and obey God’s Word. God’s grace gives us the power to make new decisions and walk in a new direction. Today is the day to take ownership of your journey. His grace is sufficient, and His favour is available now (2 Corinthians 6:2).
What area of your life requires you to stop blaming and start taking responsibility under God’s guidance?
BIBLE READINGS: Matthew 7:24–27
PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I choose today to build every part of my life on Your Word. Help me to take responsibility and walk in obedience. Amen.
