Therefore we also since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us. Hebrews 12:1
In athletics, whether field or track events, there are most times a large number of people that sit in the stands watching those athletes on the tracks about to participate in a race. Most time they will be cheering them up and encouraging them in order to finish the race well. The walk of faith or Christian race has been walked and ran by a number of people before us who had ran by the rules and gone through the process. Some failed while some succeeded. These are the cloud of witnesses we have. Since some have completed it successfully, we shall also complete the race successfully by the grace of God. You cannot form your rule now but you have to live by the commandment given by God Almighty. Believe in the work of Salvation done by the only begotten Son that He sent to us.
May I finish my race in success in Jesus name. Amen.
