THE POWER OF DILIGENCE
THE SEED
“Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.” — Proverbs 22:29 (KJV)
Success does not happen by accident; it is often the result of focused, persistent, and intentional effort. Diligence is the secret ingredient that separates excellence from mediocrity. To be diligent means to work carefully, faithfully, and consistently with purpose. Just as exquisite furniture is the product of many unseen hours of labor, so lasting success is built in the hidden places of steady effort. In our service to God, diligence is not optional. Whatever task we are assigned must be approached with commitment and excellence. God honors those who give their best in what they do, not halfway efforts. Diligence requires learning, growing, stretching, and refusing distractions until the goal is accomplished. Diligence builds character, establishes integrity, and brings divine promotion. When we work faithfully in what God has entrusted to us, He elevates us to places of influence and impact.
