TOTAL DEPENDENCE ON AN ALL- SUFFICIENT GOD

THE SEED
“If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” — John 15:7

God is our all-sufficient Father. He existed before the foundation of the world, and He will remain when all else fades away. He desires that we trust and depend on Him completely—to guide, provide, sustain, and ultimately lead us home to Him in eternity. As believers, we need God in every area of our lives. In John 15:7, Jesus gives us a powerful promise: if we abide in Him and His words abide in us, we can ask whatever we desire, and it will be done for us. Abiding in God means staying connected to Him through prayer, worship, and obedience to His Word. When we allow His Word to dwell in our hearts, we are better equipped to resist sin and align our desires with His will.
Even when our prayers seem unanswered, we can trust that God is at work—either preparing the best outcome for us or redirecting us toward something even greater. Let us rely fully on Him, knowing that He is our ever-present help and sustainer.

BIBLE READING: John 15:1-8
