Strength In Grace

THE SEED
You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. 2 Timothy 2:1

Timothy was Paul’s spiritual son, who like all of us, was hurting by what was going on in his life and for those around him. We cannot have the strength that we need, if we are not truly searching and desiring for it. It is not enough to know that there is an amazing grace in Christ Jesus to be strong. We have to be determined not to allow our weaknesses and failures to rule our lives, but to desire to be empowered by what God did for us which is also available for every single one of us. If we start the day by reminding ourselves of how much God loves us and we count our blessings, thanking the Lord for every single one of them, the Holy Spirit will constantly strengthen and empower us. When things go wrong, the best way to avoid doubt and discouragement is to remind ourselves that God loves us; His plan is the best for us in the long term and even if for now the situation seems hopeless, the Lord will make a way out for us, like He did so many times in the past.

PRAYER: Thank You so much for Your amazing grace that can be found only in You. I can count on Your wisdom and desire to help me out, no matter how hard my situation seems to be to the human mind. Thank You with all my heart Father God for the unmerited favor You offered me in Your Son, Jesus Christ, Amen.
