Fear Not (I)

THE SEED
“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand” – Isaiah 41:10

It is possible that whenever a person wants to start a new journey, there may be thoughts and questions in his/her mind. Likewise, this year is a year never lived before. It is possible that you are asking yourself what the year will look like or how you would achieve your goals. Beware, the devil has a way of using those thoughts to bring worry and anxiety upon one’s heart. The message for you today is “FEAR NOT, FOR GOD IS WITH YOU”. When Moses was stricken with age, and the Israelites had a new leader in Joshua, Moses encouraged them not to fear for the Lord would not forsake them.Fear is a burden that wearies the soul and stops you from seeing the awesomeness of God. When fear increases, faith decreases. As believers, we ought to live above fear. Though you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, you will fear no evil for the Lord is with you. (Psalm 23 vs 4)

BIBLE READING: Deuteronomy 31 vs 1-8

PRAYER: Father, I commit my ways into your hands this year. Help me to overcome every form of fear and know that you are always with me. Amen
