Food For Thought Amongst Brethren

FOOD FOR THOUGHT AMONGST BRETHREN

THE SEED

“But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:” 2 Timothy 3:1 NKJV

Have you noticed how strange things are getting? I mean just when we think we have  seen or heard it all, something stranger comes along.

Have we noticed the strange things that’s going on mostly amongst brethren in the  church? Brethren are more worried about what people think about them than what God says  about them. It is more difficult to learn, retain and share facts about God, than to listen, believe  and spread gossip.

Brethren are short of words to express thanksgiving and request in prayer but have no  trouble with what to talk about with friends. Love towards our seen neighbours is fading away  and replaced with selfishness. Ideas of the world now have a place in the church. Instead of  brethren motivating and influencing the world for Christ, the world is motivating and  influencing children of God.

Dearly beloved of Christ, these things are not supposed to be so, take a righteous step  now to make a change, beginning to think, speak, act, motivate, influence and love as a child of  God.

PRAYER

Lord Jesus, help me to become spiritually sensitive to the strangeness of this time and keep me  in your righteousness.
