GODLINESS WITH CONTENTMENT

GODLINESS WITH CONTENTMENT

THE SEED

“But godliness with contentment is great gain.” — 1 Timothy 6:6 KJV

True contentment isn’t about having everything; it’s about trusting that God has provided all you need for this season. A content heart is a peaceful heart. Paul and Silas sang praises in prison because their joy didn’t depend on their situation but on God’s faithfulness.

Contentment grows when we focus on God’s goodness and not on what we lack. Gratitude is a powerful weapon against greed and anxiety. As we deepen our relationship with God, our desires align with His will, and worldly cravings lose their grip. When we serve God wholeheartedly, we stop chasing shadows. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego refused to bow because they were content in their faith. A contented heart finds satisfaction in God alone. Where might discontentment be stealing your peace?
