GRACE IS A GIFT
THE SEED
“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.” Ephesians 2:8 NKJV
Grace is God paying the debt we could never pay and giving the life we could never earn. Religion says, “Do and maybe live.” The gospel says, “It is finished now live.” Our salvation is not a joint project with God; it is His generous gift, received by faith, producing good works as fruit, not payment. This grace is not leniency toward sin but power over it. It teaches us to deny ungodliness, to live uprightly, and to abound in thanksgiving. The more you marvel at grace, the more humble, holy, and hopeful you become. Stand amazed: you are accepted in the Beloved. From that security, go and do the good works prepared for you. Stop trying to earn what Christ has already given.
