Hope Through Grace

“Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace” 2 Thessalonians 2:16

Christians should be confident individuals whose expectations are established in the grace of God. If God is not gracious, there is no hope for us. We could cross our fingers. We could have powerful urges and wishes. We could try and maybe choose, by all means, to be positive thinkers and consequently make the best of our lives. However, there could be no conviction of assurance about a good life in the future. There would be no certainty that everything will sort out brilliantly and in a good manner for us. Not every person has everlasting solace and great expectation through grace. The eternal comfort and good hope through grace will only come to pass when you have respected the lordship of Christ and do His will, entrusting God with your future and giving every one of your tensions over to him and rest in his affection and care as your Father. Brethren, let us have hope in God. For he is a God of incomparable grace. He chooses by grace. He calls by grace. He blesses by grace. He supports confidence by grace. Also, he will glorify you by grace. You can’t procure it or merit it. It is freely given. Trust it. Rest in it. Take pleasure in it. Hunger for more, then it is yours.

Father Lord, let my life experience your matchless grace, your unconditional grace in Jesus name. Amen
